What is Kisan Rath App and How to use it
Looking at the threat of Coronavirus (Covid 19), Indian government has extended the Lockdown til May 3, which was supposed to end on April 14. In this whole situation, farmers are also impacted hard. To minimise the trouble of farmers and other stakeholders associated with the agricultural industry, the Indian government is taking all necessary measures. To low down the trouble for farmers, government launched Kisan Rath app to facilitate transportation of food grains and perishables during lockdown.

To relieve the farmers from this problem, the central government has launched the Kisan Rath App. With the help of this app, farmers will be able to easily sell their produce to traders.
With the help of the app, trucks, tractors and other agricultural equipment can also be called on rent. This Kisan Rath app was launched by Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Friday. The aim is to provide relief to farmers during this crisis.
The government has launched the Kisan Rath app during a difficult time of lockdown. With the help of this app, farmers will be able to deal with their traders of fruits, vegetables and other produce. This app can be easily downloaded into mobile by visiting the Play Store. With the help of the app, farmers from all over the country will be able to reach their market easily.
With the help of the app, farmers and traders will get information about other freight vehicles including trucks. They will also get information about the time and place of arrival of the truck. After this, farmers will be able to sell their fruits, vegetables or grains by going to the fixed time and place. With the help of the app, transporters can also register for the transportation of goods.
Android smartphone must be used to use this app. First, download the Kisan Rath app from Google Play Store. After this, filling the information like name, mobile number and Aadhaar number will have to be registered for PM Kisan App. If you are a trader then you will have to register with the company name, your name, and mobile number. After registration, you will be able to log in to the app through mobile number and password. In addition to English and Hindi, the government has also launched this app in Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
National Information Center (NIC) has developed this application. It aims to help farmers and traders who are looking for vehicles to transport agricultural products from one place to another.
